The wait is over.  The Duke Blue Devils have been slotted into the second seed in the Midwest Regional.  They will play Iona this Thursday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Duke joined eight other Atlantic Coast Conference teams in the field.

This will be the 34th time that Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski has coached a team in the tournament.

The Blue Devils are in a bracket which features Kansas and Michigan State.  Needless to say, the Midwest is top heavy for all three of those teams were pre season top 5 and would have been choices to win it all coming from any region.

The three teams with the most consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances are Kansas, Duke and Michigan State.  Amazingly, all three are in the same bracket.
