The Duke Blue Devils basketball program offered a scholarship Boogie Ellis last evening. Ellis caught the Blue Devil attention during the Nike Peach Jam and they've followed him ever since,
Ellis is a four-star guard from San Diego, CA where he plays his high school basketball for Mission Bay. He has been offered by Southern Cal, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Arizona.
Duke rival, North Carolina has also shown interest and will host Ellis on October the 12th. The star prospect will also visit Gonzaga and Memphis in October. The Blue Devils may be able to persuade Ellis to get in for a visit around the same time he checks out the Tar Heels.
Ellis can score the ball be it from the perimeter or on drives to the basket. He can also play both guard positions. Duke has several roster spots open for 2019 prospects. More on the Blue Devil Nation message board for members,
