Duke Will Host ESPN GameDay vs UNC

Virginia Tech v DukeDURHAM, N.C. – The final ESPN College GameDay Covered by State Farm of the 2015-16 season will originate from Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday, March 5, when Duke hosts the network’s signature pregame college basketball show prior to its rivalry matchup with North Carolina.

Duke fans can join the crew of Rece Davis, Seth Greenberg and former Duke stars Jay Bilas and Jay Williams as ESPN College GameDay broadcasts from Coach K Court from 11 a.m.-noon ET. In addition to the morning show, there will also be an evening edition of College GameDay that precedes the game broadcast.

ESPN College Gameday is open to both students and the general public with doors to Cameron Indoor Stadium opening at 9 a.m. ET. The public entrance into the event will be from the South Hall of Honor, while both undergraduate and graduate students will enter from the north (Krzyzewskiville) lobby.

General public parking will be available in the Circuit Lots from 7-11 a.m. ET with a free courtesy shuttle running from7 a.m.-1 p.m. ET. General public ADA parking will be available in the Edens Lots from 7-11 a.m. An ADA wheelchair-accessible shuttle will be available to transport guests from the Edens Lots to Cameron Indoor Stadium. The ADA shuttle will also run from 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

Saturday’s event will mark the sixth time Duke has hosted College GameDay. Duke’s six hosting selections are the second-most in the history of the show, while its 13 times as part of College GameDay’s selected site (home or road) is tied for the second-most in the show’s history.

March 5 will also mark the eighth time that College GameDay will highlight the Duke-UNC rivalry, making it the most common matchup in the show’s history. Including this season, GameDay has now ended its season at Duke for the sixth time.

The Blue Devils will face UNC at 6:30 p.m. ET on March 5 in ESPN’s Saturday Primetime presented by DIRECTV. Dan Shulman, Bilas and reporter Shannon Spake will have the call.

Duke won the opening meeting with North Carolina this season, earning a 74-73 win at the Dean E. Smith Center on Feb. 17 behind 23 points from Grayson Allen and a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double from Brandon Ingram.
